About the Role

American Cyber is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead strategic information technology and cybersecurity projects. The Program Manager is responsible for the design, orchestration, and management of people, processes, and technologies with the goal to build resilient and compliant cybersecurity programs for American Cyber customers.

What you will do. 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT and cybersecurity programs for SMB organizations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance standards.

  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation across multiple initiatives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, compliance, and business leaders, to ensure seamless integration and adoption of cybersecurity solutions.

  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Act as a trusted advisor for SMB clients in industries such as healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, legal, and computer software.

  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, challenges, and achievements.

  • Stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in program management.

What we are looking for.

Qualifications:

 

  • 10+ years of experience in technology leadership and program management.

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing technology programs within regulated industries.

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOX).

  • Proven ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously with exceptional organizational skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Project and program management certifications are highly desirable.

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
