About the Role

The HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting the human resources function for American Cyber in a remote capacity. This position will work closely with our leadership team and employees to ensure we are maintaining a positive, productive and compliant work environment.

What you will do. 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, resume reviews, candidate screenings, and scheduling interviews.

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Conduct new hire orientations and onboarding processes.

  • Manage employee relations issues, conducting investigations and providing guidance to management as needed.

  • Oversee employee benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and communication with employees.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of employee training and development programs.

  • Manage and maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR systems are up-to-date and accurate.

  • Assist in the preparation of HR reports, including headcount, turnover, and other metrics.

What we are looking for.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 2 years in a Generalist role.

  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and remotely.

  • Experience with HRIS systems and software.
